Save-A-Dog Scheme

Save a dog or cats life and assist in finding them loving homes

Support this Good Cause

The Issue

Every year tens of thousands of healthy dogs and cats are euthanased in Australia. SADS needs your help to rescue and rehome the animals that come into their care.

The Good

$15 can feed an average sized dog or cat for a week.

About Save-A-Dog Scheme

Since 1985, Save-A-Dog Scheme (SADS) has saved many thousands of dogs and cats from destruction to allow them to live out their natural life span in loving homes. From that time, SADS, a not-for-profit organisation, has been a leader in the ‘no kill’ philosophy as every life is precious. Every animal is rehomed where it is responsible to do so.

SADS takes in dogs and cats regardless of breed, size, age or health status. All animals have extensive behavioural, and veterinary checks, on arrival. Some need significant medical and surgical treatment to provide them with the best opportunity for a wonderful new life. These costs can mount up.

No matter how long it takes, or how much it costs, the team at Save-A-Dog Scheme works tirelessly to find the right loving homes for animals in their care.
